First Aid Courses

Aimed at those looking to undertake the role of the Emergency First aider in the Workplace, as outlined in the Health and Safety (First-aid) Regulations 1981. A Qualification designed to assess the knowledge, understanding and skills required to deal with a range of emergencies requiring first aid in the workplace. Course includes the roles and responsibilities of the first aider, assessing an emergency situation, managing an unresponsive casualty, CPR and use of a defibrillator (AED). Additionally, responses to bleeding and wounds, choking, shock and other minor injuries are addressed. The qualification is valid for 3 years from achievement.
